Melanie Newcombe has been making art in Los Angeles for five years. She has had an active voice in the Los Angeles art scene with her exhibitions and participation in many open studio events in Inglewood and Hawthorn Arts Complex, as well as participated in artist talks. Melanie sews aluminum window screen mesh into life size goddesses as well as creates wire mesh objects, paintings, and drawings. Melanie will have her studio open for the public to experience Melanie's process. Artworks will be available for purchase at various price points.
1019 West Art Studios / Melanie Newcombe's Art Studio can be accessed by the following: Arrival in a car - enter through the gate on Hindry, which is across from a carwash (parking is free inside the lot and you may park wherever you wish), or you may pay for metered parking on either Hindry or Manchester Blvd. The walk-in gate is on Manchester Blvd. Melanie Newcombe's studio is through the 3rd glass door nearest the Manchester Blvd. entry. Melanie's studio is the 2nd studio on the left side down the hallway.
